Let's start the school year!
August 19, 2020 First Day
What about activities?
We are working with our club/activity advisors to create opportunities for small group meetings and social options. Please be sure to keep up on the Schoology class pages for these announcements!
What's different in digital learning from last spring?
-A/B schedule: 4 classes per day are synchronous (online)
-You will still have homework expectations for each class even if you are not meeting that day
-Teachers will provide "live" instruction for part of each period
-Grading is back to the regular grading schedule.
What are Digital Office Hours?
Each morning between 8:15 and 9:00 a.m. and from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. all teachers are available online to answer questions or to assist you with assignments, projects, etc. Students should be using this time to contact teachers and work on assignments. Teachers may also be contacting students during this time to provide additional support.
What are the requirements and handbook rules during digital learning?
More specific requirements will be shared but please review these prior to August 19.
What is the new school calendar?
How do I use Schoology?
Back to School Video for Students and Parents
What if I need meal assistance?
Families should complete the free/reduced lunch forms available on the district website or at the West Campus south entrance. Families will then receive a form to complete about pick up times.
What are the school attendance requirements?
More specific information will be shared when school begins, but just like during in-person instruction, parents must call the West Campus School attendance line each day and report a student's absence at 815-759-5509
