Pilot Town Visit

We had an excellent meeting and tour of the Town with Representatives of The National Executive for the Town Centre Regeneration Project when they visited Carlow yesterday.

It's early days and a lot of the ground work will be done in the coming weeks and months.

This is a really positive initiative that can bring real improvements on the ground in Carlow Town Centre.

During 2013 Carlow celebrates the 800th Anniversary of the construction of Carlow Castle.

The Carlow 800 Festival takes place from from August 22nd - 25th with a host of special events.

4 days and nights of celebration of our past and present will mark this auspicious anniversary.
