Eastridge Elementary School April 10, 2020

Prinicpal's Message

We are excited about the opportunity to connect and give all students and families a great first week of learn at home. Monday morning at 8 am, the township will share the schedule and resources for Week 1 of Learn at Home via the Warren district website, the Warren app, social media feeds and email. Here is the website: bit.ly/msdwarrenlearnathome. All Eastridge teachers will hold virtual homeroom meetings on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am - 10am. If you have not received an invite, please reach out to your teacher. If you have questions about Learn at Home, device distribution, or technology, please contact our eLearning/Learn at Home hotline at (317-608-0545) or email MSDWarrenELEARNING@warren.k12.in.us.

If you missed Wednesday's device pick-up there will be one more opportunity next Wednesday evening (April 15th) from 5-7pm at Eastridge. Interested families should complete a Device Request Form and enter Eastridge's campus off German Church Road. Please follow the barriers to door #11 where a staff member will check you in and deliver your child's device.

Supervision reminder: Now that students have their devices, please be sure to check in with them as they are working. If you have the opportunity, please sit next to your student from time to time as they are working or meeting online.

Please continue to monitor our website, district mobile app, school newsletters, and our social media Twitter and Facebook accounts for updated information. Please reach out to me at 317-532-3153 or tjohnso1@warren.k12.in.us with any questions.

I hope that you and your family have a great weekend!

Mrs. Johnson

Food Outreach Update

I also want to remind you about our updated food outreach plan. To provide increased quantities of meals and to lessen the need to travel on a daily basis, we are adjusting and expanding our food outreach program. We have added a Wednesday evening food outreach site at Post Road Christian Church and now Lakeside Elementary from 5:30 - 7:00. Wednesday locations will distribute a total of 8 meals. Starting next week, we will be distributing 6 meals on Tuesdays and 8 meals on Fridays at now 11 locations from 11:00 -1:00. Eastridge and Hawthorne will be added as Tuesday / Friday locations.
