Parent Newsletter -February 2023- Iduma Elementary School
Dear Iduma Families,
- Happy February! This past week we celebrated 100 days of learning. What an accomplishment!
- Our school focus this month is FAIRNESS. We are exploring ways to practice fairness at school and in our community.
- Our front doors are locked each day from 2:30-3:00 p.m. Please do not come to sign out your child at that time. Thank you for your understanding.
- Please remember we always need I.D.s to release students to parents or guardians at dismissal when walking up or signing out from the office.
- Thank you for sending your student to school in tennis shoes every day. That is our campus expectation. It is also our policy that student cell phones should be powered off and kept in backpacks throughout the day.
- Progress reports went home on Friday, February 10. Please reach out to your child's teacher should you have any questions. We appreciate your partnership!
- Black History Hero Dress Up Day is Thursday, February 16-Students are encouraged to dress up and share about their historical figure or hero.
- A flyer was sent home Friday that included ways to support our United Way Campaign.
Sincerely,
Katy Bohannon
Proud Principal
