Causes of Stress
Stress is caused by many different things. It can be caused by too much to do and not enough time, eating habits, friends/enemies and much more. Stress is just your body's reaction to everyday events. There is good stress and you might not even know it. An example would be a roller coaster. The exhilarating feeling you get is stress.
Effects of Stress on the Body
Stress can have different effects depending on the person. It can make you sick, drained of energy, nervous, mad and it makes your heart pound, giving you an adrenaline rush. Stress can give you headaches and affect your mood.
Solutions for Reducing Stress
Stress can be easy to cope with if you know how to. I find that a good nap helps me because it gives me energy and that refreshed feeling when I wake up. You can also try to plan your day and give yourself a goal or two to accomplish by the end of the day so you don't feel as overwhelmed. Having a good, fun time helps too. Just forgetting about your problems releases all the tension and leaves you feeling happy, putting you in a positive mood.
