Should Distracted Driving be Illegal in All States?

I think distracted driving should be illegal because it could cause injury or possibly death, it creates major financial problems and it could impact the rest of your life.

What is Distracted Driving

Distracted driving is texting and talking on your cell phone while driving. It's being distracted to the point where it causes you to take your eyes off of the road.

How it Can Impact Your Future

it can impact your future if you get in a car excedent and you hit a person. if you go to jail it could impac your future of getting a job. It can cause you to lose your job if your driving priviledges are taken away.

Causes Injury of Possibly Death

Each day, more than 15 Americans are killed and more than 1,200 are injured in car crashes that involve a distracted driver. In 2008 alone, the toll amounted to nearly 6,000 deaths and over 500,000 injuries—and the problem is getting worse every year.

My Conclusion

Distracted driving should be illegal because people die or get injured when someone is distracted while driving. when someone is distracted and hit someone when there driving they can go to jail.
