"Corinth is community."
Message from Dr. Stratton
Dear Corinth Families,
Good news! New York State has provided the district with a supply of antigen rapid test kits based on our student enrollment. We wanted to be thoughtful about how we would utilize these tests because they are currently difficult to obtain. Our intent is to maximize student and staff health thereby allowing us to maintain our goal of in-person learning for all students. One of the best ways to accomplish this is through the Test to Stay program. A detailed description of this program is attached. I encourage you to carefully review it.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to inform you of the following recent COVID-19 changes in management and procedures:
Any positive results from a home test must be reported to the Saratoga County Portal here.
If your child is exhibiting COVID related symptoms, please test before sending to school. If you need a test kit, you may obtain one in the main office at your child’s school.
If your child has been a close contact and placed on quarantine per Saratoga DOH guidelines, it is now a 5-day quarantine. Students must be symptom-free before they return to school.
If your child is returning after testing positive and completing the required isolation period, on days 6-10 they will be provided an alternative location to eat their lunch in order to adhere to the NYS/Saratoga County guidance. Once their lunch is completed, they can return to the lunch room with their mask on at all times. Remember, there is always an option to quarantine for the full 10 days.
Please remember that we are still under the NYS mandate for mask wearing in schools and on school buses. Resources related to proper mask wearing
I can’t thank you all enough for the support over the past two years while dealing with this tenacious pandemic. While it hasn’t been easy for any of us, it helps knowing we are overcoming this together. As always, if you have any questions, please call the school nurses, the principals, or myself anytime.
Respectfully,
Dr. Mark R. Stratton

Chromebooks are going home nightly with our students. They should remain in the students' backpacks unless we have a virtual school day.

In the event of a positive classroom case, the COVID vaccine reduces the likelihood your child will have to quarantine and miss school. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our students safe!
