Dream Big
As a kid, we all had big dreams. I dreamt of being a professional baseball player, President (insert political joke here), and yes even a teacher. Kids have the ability to dream big, but as we get older it seems the world squashes some of those dreams for us. The adult in us calls it "reality", but after this parent's remarks it made me think about whether "reality" was my way of projecting limits on ourselves and those around us.
We are blessed with the opportunity to help build and nurture the dreams of our students. Each day the words you say, the actions you take, and the love you give helps our kids (and those around us) build their dreams. Thank you for supporting our students and helping them to DREAM BIG.
