John Daly
A 5'9", 177lb graduate from Plattsburgh State University, who earned a bachelors degree in Public Relations and Advertising, is what you would call a well-rounded man. Daly ran track and field while attending Plattsburgh and was All-American in the decathlon in 2007. Recruited by his gym coach's son who was looking for new talent in luge. He began competing in Skeleton in 2001, while making his first Olympic team in 2010. 2014 is a hopeful year for Daily, who is hoping for a medal.

Daly couldn't hold out in Skeleton Final for Medal
In the final on Friday February 14th, John Daly was about to attempt his fourth and final run for a bronze medal. Loud cheers coming from his fans and family, were defining. At the take off of his final run, Daly slipped and ruined his chances at a medal. Walking off of the track, Daly seemed to zone out the standing ovation that was being given to him by his friends and family. Fighting the tears, Daly stated; " I felt like I let everyone down a little bit."
