Proteins are chains comprised of units called amino acids.
The amino acids are connected by chemical bonds between adjacent amino acids.
What do living things use these molecules for??
They digest foods and turn them into energy.
Proteins protect our bodies from foreign invaders.

Hormones, structural, enzymes, defensive, contractile, receptor, and transport.

Proteins is a necessary part on an organisms diet.
We use proteins to make our hair healthier.
