Maple Messenger
February Edition
Principal's Corner
Happy February! I hope this month finds you all healthy and happy.
We continue to do everything possible to keep Maple students, staff and families healthy. We are continuing our health screens during morning drop off and of course screening staff as well. The weather has continued to become colder. Because of this, we have a few requests that will make the drop off time smoother and faster.
- Please have your children ready to exit the vehicle. This means their backpack is in their lap and ready and their coats, hats and mittens are on.
- Please have your child on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is dangerous for parents and children to get out of vehicles on the driver's side. It is essential that they exit on the passenger side.
- Please make every effort to get to school on time. Our screening team has other commitments after 8:20. Your student may arrive between 7:55 and 8:20.
- Please make sure your children are dressed for the weather. Please send them with winter coats, hats and mittens. If you need assistance with any of these items, please call the office. We would be happy to assist you!
Thank you for all of your assistance in keeping our students, staff and families safe!
Project Success Comes to Maple!
Project Success will officially begin at Maple on February 22nd. This program will be run by the Project Success team and will be housed at Maple from 1:05 to 4:05 Monday through Thursday. Staff will provide homework help, enrichment activities and snacks. Please complete the form below and return to the Maple office if you are interested in your child attending.
