Good Afternoon Monroe Families!
This week at Monroe Elementary, our third grade students and kindergarten students participated in “Reading Buddies.” This is something that we have done as a school before but stopped during Covid. This is a great opportunity for our third grade students to read out loud as well as an opportunity for our kindergartens students to be read to. Both groups of students were so excited this week when they were participating in “Reading Buddies.” I have added pictures below.
Our 4th grade ROX girls group enjoyed a friendship break -out box and a pizza lunch this week at the Think Big Space at Jonathan Alder High School. The girls had fun solving the puzzle together and enjoying pizza.
Today we celebrated our friendship parties. Our students enjoyed their last classroom party of the school year. I have added some pictures of our students enjoying the fun.

School Counselor's Week
It has been a fun celebrating School Counselor's week with Monroe's School Counselor, Ms. Allen. We are so grateful for all that she does to help our students at Monroe Elementary.

PCABA Rec T-Ball, Baseball, & Softball Registration Now Open!
Don't miss sign ups for PCABA Rec. Baseball, Softball and T-Ball! This is where our kids begin to love the game, develop their skills, and begin to envision themselves making the big play or getting the big hit! Maybe they will excel at an early age or maybe they blossom later. Our hope is that they have fun, learn the game, develop friendships, and gain respect for all aspects of the game. Regular registrations will be open through February 12th. Late fees will be assessed beginning February 13th, so please register today!
