THANK YOU NOTE CHALLENGE
In these times of uncertainty, we often reflect on what is important in our lives. With the pace of the world slowing down this past week, I find myself with more time to do just that. I also realize that the people who I consider important in my life may not always know how thankful I am for them.
That being said, here is the challenge for today, write an email, leave a simple note behind, call a friend or family member and thank them for something they have done for you. Mrs. Kemmett shared a list of essential workers who are making sure we all have food, medical care, order and safety. We have teachers who are reaching out to our kids daily, offering advice and support for many different issues. There are moms and dads working from home and helping to make sure kids are supported as they work on enrichment activities from their teachers. You have friends and family who have been there for you when you needed them most. Let's take 5 minutes out of our day today to say thank you and together we can brighten someone’s day!
Thank YOU for making FBMS proud!

REMINDERS
- During the current school closure due to the COVID-19 cricis, our teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, administrative assistants, educational support professionals, tutors, and all MPSD staff will continue to be available for any questions that our students or families. Superintendent Granatino has asked us to stay connected and engaged with our students and families so you will continue to hear from us. If you have any ideas, let us know! We have a few ideas...so stay tuned!
- A few parents and students have contacted us about being allowed in the building to retrieve books, binders, etc. but we are keeping the building closed up so we don't risk any contamination. If this changes, we will be sure to let you know!
- We hope our students and families are following the CDC guidelines for social distancing but that doesn't mean you can't get outside and enjoy our beautiful community! Feel free to share photos (with parent permission) with us...maybe they will show up in some of our communications!
