First Grade Conversation Starters
3.13.15
Finally . . . A full and regular week of school. Last Monday, March 2nd was Dr. Seuss' birthday. We had a great time celebrating here in first grade. The end of our week was snowed out but, this week has been packed with some amazing learning. Here are some topics to ask your children about:
*what is your favorite Dr. Seuss book?
*where did you hear about a runcible spoon? Do you remember what it is? (spork)
*what is an attribute?
*can you find some 3-D shapes at home?
*why is Australia unique from other countries? (continent, island, country)
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
Thank you Mrs. Kaufman for making our celebration extra special!
