Teacher Voice
As we move towards our next campus PD Day, now is a time to reflect on how we collaborate and function as a campus. Preston Hollow is an Accomplished School, designated as such by Dallas ISD, for scoring high in 6 areas - School Effectiveness Index, Climate Survey, Student Survey, Parent Survey, Extra Curricular Participation, & STAAR Domains.
These areas allow us to be more in control of our day-to-day structure & allow us to develop our own priorities and focus, this level of control is higher than 90% of the other campuses in the district. As we plan for our PD Day, this is the time that we need to spend to stay ahead of the trends and be the innovative. If we rest or rely on the status quo, then we no longer be ahead of the district initiatives and will not have a campus voice. Whether we like or dislike campus to campus competition, we are in a race, & we are clearly in the lead, but we need to keep running.
Two of our highest areas of recognition is our IB Programming Model and Dual Language Program. Friday's focus will be on our IB Instructional model so we can continue to thrive and be the highest Accomplished campus we can be. #thriving

The campus could not have had such a positive experience of the awards ceremony, 100 Day Parade Celebration, and the great IB Instructional things that were happening inside the classrooms during the tours last week!
To recognize a few (of the many people) individuals who have gone above and beyond; a Shout out to Mclendon for always being several steps ahead and prepared for the Fire Drills and Safety Procedures that we must complete every year! Thank you for keeping us safe and compliant!
