School Hours for the 2022- 2023 School Year
We have received confirmation that our school hours for NEXT school year will once again be 9:30 am - 4:00 pm.
The Symmes Elementary Staff would like to thank our amazing PTO for organizing such a wonderful week of Staff Appreciation treats. We have enjoyed a week of delicious food, beautiful flowers, and thoughtful notes.

It’s Showtime! Break a leg Symmes Players!
Symmes Players is proud to present The Claw, debuting tonight on the brand new Symmes Elementary stage! Students have been working hard since January and we are so proud and impressed with their dedication and efforts. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, there are still a few seats available for Saturday and Sunday's performances at 7:30 PM and 2:00 PM respectively. The box office opens 45 minutes before each performance, but tickets ARE LIMITED. Tickets are $7/seat, cash or check, children under 3 are free, if seated in a parent’s lap.

It's very little work, mostly just putting donuts on plates and getting them on the tables for the guests to grab and go, and helping to direct foot traffic...

We invite you to attend “Help Night”, an outdoor event organized by Symmes Ambassadors to provide information about the school and answer any questions you may have. Some translators will be available. If you need an interpreter, please email SYAmbassadors@SycamoreSchools.org to request one.

WHAT: Help Night is our “Symmes 101” for parents and kids alike.
You may:
Learn about summer school.
Hear about summer camps, sports teams offered in our school area.
Get help with half-day kindergarten or preschool registration.
Have assistance filling out tuition aid or free and reduced meal forms.
Have a resource person help you log into the Parent Portal, Final Forms, or Blackboard. There will be Chromebooks and internet access available. Feel free to bring your own device!
Ask questions about school, the community, and local resources.
