Youth will need to complete the online training to obtain their YQCA certificate. The Cass County 4-H Council voted to purchase web-based training codes so our 4-H members can take this training at NO COST!!! Thank you 4-H Council!

EVALUATE MY RIDE FROM EQUINE INDUSTRY CLINICIANS
Nebraska 4-H Evaluate My Ride will provide members with tips, suggestions, and ride evaluations from Equine Industry clinicians. New patterns or topics will be shared and cover a variety of disciplines related to equine riding. Participants may review materials at their own pace, try out any of the listed topics, and work on the feedback they are given. Evaluate My Ride is open to ALL AGES. Members will have the opportunity to submit videos of ranging difficulty and experience. New members can join at any time and catch up on the past weekly materials at their own pace.

Here is a great opportunity that is open to all youth K-12 across the state of Nebraska. We are a partner with Beyond School Bells and the Nebraska Pitch Challenge that will be running in June and July. Students can create a 60-90 second pitch video and if they submit it, they have the opportunity to win $200 in funding, mentorships, and possible additional funding. Changes to Tractor Safety Courses for 2020🚜
New plans for the tractor safety training courses that were originally scheduled around the state are designed to protect the health of the students and trainers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students will take the first day of the course online through the eXtension Foundation Campus website. After successfully completing the online course and testing, the required driving test will be offered at five locations across Nebraska July 27-31, 2020.

VIRTUAL COMPANION ANIMAL SHOWMANSHIP CONTEST
Do you have a companion animal that you have great relationship with and want an opportunity to show them off? Look no further! Sign up for our Video Companion Animal Showmanship Contest for an opportunity to present your favorite pet from the comfort of your own home! From cats, rabbits, and rodents to birds, reptiles, and amphibians, 4-H youth are invited to record a 3-5 minute presentation demonstrating their knowledge about the care their companion animal requires. The contest is open to youth ages 10-18 who are enrolled in a companion animal project. Video submissions will be accepted from June 1st through August 10th. NEBRASKA UNIVERSITY EXTENSION GUIDELINES
COVID-19 IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING DATE EXTENDED
Per University Extension guidelines, will continue to provide only remote programming through June 15, 2020. Decisions beyond that timeframe will be made later.
As a reminder this includes: club meetings, summer workshops, YQCA trainings, and camps. Please refer to the Cass County 4-H Calendar to view a complete list of events between today, April 28th and June 15th, will be held virtually.
