Zoom Parent Teacher Conferences Wednesday, March 2 -- 5:00-8:00pm
We are pleased to announce that parent-teacher conferences will be conducted through Zoom meetings again. Parents will have the ability to preschedule conferences in ParentVUE, rather than waiting in line to see a teacher.
The spring parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for March 2nd - 5:00-8:00pm
Please see the PDF below for instructions on how to sign up for a parent conference.
We are asking parents who are planning to attend conferences to schedule five-minute time slots with the teachers with whom they would like to speak. If a parent does not have any concerns or questions for their student's teacher, they do not need to feel obligated to schedule appointments during that time. Also, if a parent feels their concern will require more time than the allotted five minutes, they are welcome to contact the teacher to set up a separate appointment.
Families will have the ability to schedule meetings beginning on February 23rd, up until the evening of conferences. If parents are planning to see multiple teachers, we recommend leaving 5-10 minutes between scheduled appointments to join the next meeting.
In order to schedule appointments, it is important for parents to be able to successfully login to ParentVUE. You may use either the ParentVUE mobile app or visit https://rcsvue.rochester.k12.mi.us.
If a parent is having difficulties with their ParentVUE login, they can email ParentVUE support at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Important Student Reminders
1. Cell phones need to be put away in lockers during school hours. If a student phone is turned into the main office, it will have to be picked up by a parent.
2. Winter coats need to be stored in student lockers during the school day. Please encourage your student to keep a sweater or sweatshirt in their locker in case they need one.
3. Hats and Hoods are not to be worn in school. Please share with students that we want to see their smiling faces!
Thank you for your support!

Thank you to our mental health professionals for all they do!! Mrs. Prashar and Mrs. Suhajda were recognized by the Board of Education for all of their work.
Hello Crusader Nation families!
Our Mental Health & Wellness Club’s theme for February is “ALL About Heart!” We are focusing on ways to be heart healthy, and how practicing self-compassion, self-love and kindness are beneficial to overall health & well-being. This month, our students engaged in circle discussions, reflections on short videos related to middle school stress, writing letters to themselves expressing compassion, and at our next meeting will be making worry stones to help with stress relief. In addition, our wonderful members are sharing tips, facts and doing staff interviews for our Wednesday Wellness news segment.
Our hope is to share some of our learning with you as well. Around Valentine’s Day, it’s always a good reminder to take care of ourselves and practice some “self-love.”
Here are some great resources to build self-confidence & self-compassion in our kids:
