A Few Reminders as we start off 2018!
- Car Rider Drop off stops at 8:50. At 8:50, staff are in the building and ready for the start of the school day. If you arrive after 8:50, please come to the front of the school to escort your child in to get a late pass.
- School starts @ 8:55. Any student arriving after 8:55 is considered late.
- If your child has missed more than 10 days of school, they are automatically placed on doctor's notes for the remainder of the year. This means that students who miss on the 11th day of school, will require a doctor's note for their absence to be considered lawful.
- All transportation changes must be made before 3:00 pm. Please remember to send a note with your child to the attention of the front office.

After January 31, 2018, the Office of Advanced Academics will be accepting nominations of present second through fourth grade students for possible placement in the magnet program for the 2018 - 2019 school year.
Students may be nominated for the magnet program by school staff, parents or jointly. Teacher nominations, parent nominations and a completed Parent/Guardian Rating Form are due in the school office by March 1, 2018, so that tests can be administered and information required to complete the nomination packet may be gathered by school staff.
A Magnet Program Overview for parents interested in nominating their child will be held on February 1, 2018, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Central Office (191 South East Street).
