Dyscalculia
Understanding How to Support Students to Access Mathematics
Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training and Consultation Team (TaC) for this in-person training.
This session is intended to develop an awareness of Dsycalculia and how to be support students within the mathematics classroom. Time will be devoted to exploring characteristics, myths and misconceptions, and appropriate strategies. In addition, assistive technology tools will be explored that can aid in accessing the mathematics.
Intended Audience: K-12 General/Special Education Teachers, Special Education Liaisons, Paraeducators, Reading Specialists, Building Principals, Interventionists, & Coaches
Participant Information
- Five (5) Act 48 hours will be awarded upon completion of this training
- There is no cost to attend this training

Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration.
