Why did you have to go?

The Chialingosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived in the late jurassic period, or Mesozoic, about 159-142 million years ago. It was named by C. C. Young. It was discovered in modern day China, which is now a part of Asia. This beast is very similar to the famous dinosaur, “Kentrosaurus.” It was up to thirteen feet long, and 330 pounds. The way it attacked its prey is unknown, but many paleontologists believe it went up on two legs, when it usually walks on four. This minuscule predator had an arrangement of spikes down its back to protect against any other dinosaur that wanted it for their dinner.

All known from a partial skeleton of the head, the Chialingosaurus discovery in China was the first and hence most important Stegosaur discovery to take place in Asia. None of its family members still living, it was in the “Stegosauridae” family.
