PK 3.1 Ms. Ginni's Class
The Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf!
This week we enjoyed different versions of the classic story "The Three Little Pigs" to learn more about buildings and construction materials. Ms. Ginni showed us some real straw, a few sticks, and a real brick. We touched each material and discuss its texture, weight, sturdiness, etc. We talked about what we already knew about the story.
This is the video that we saw this week!

WE LOVE TO PAINT!!!!
Painting can be messy, so why not take it outside on a nice day? it is important for preschoolers to get outside to exercise, explore, play, and enjoy some fresh air. Outdoor play fosters positive opportunities for growth and development. We went to the outdoor area to paint different boxes with beautiful bright colors. We really loved the experience.
Block City
We became little contractors as we built a city with blocks. Ms. Ginni placed the blocks on the floor and invited us to build our own town. Remember that blocks are open-ended materials and there is no 'right or wrong' way to use them. We talked about the process and we even made up a story about this town, so ask plenty of questions to help the children recreate the scene.
