November is the time to be thankful, a time to remember and to embrace those who enrich our lives. I’m thankful for a lot of things in my life, especially Prospect School! As I reflect on the many things for which I am thankful, I want to take this opportunity to share just a few of them with you: I am thankful for our students who come to school every day ready and excited to learn. I love greeting them each morning as they are walk into the building. I am thankful for the support of the parents in creating an outstanding partnership for our students. I am thankful for the teachers, Instructional assistants, secretaries, school nurse, lunchroom supervisors, therapists and RtI tutors who put in endless hours every week and have the best interests of our students at heart. I am thankful for our volunteers who enthusiastically contribute so much to our school each and everyday!

I look forward to seeing many of you next week during Parent/Teacher Conferences, but if I don't see you I wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Here's to enjoying the company of good friends and family!
