Stressed Out?

This is a very stressful time of year for everyone. We are all more "snappy" and more "easily wounded". Please bear that in mind when dealing with your colleagues this week. Everyone is under the gun and trying to meet deadlines. Always assume that people have the best intentions. Be suspicious of rumors.

Also, the administrators are pressed on all sides. If you have a question, if at all possible, send it in an email. It is very difficult for administrators to get you what you need and prepare things for you if there is always someone in the doorway asking a "quick question".

If it is an emergency that needs a right now answer, by all means, visit us.

To relieve a little of the pressure, the building will be opened Saturday and Sunday (27th and 28th). We are also working diligently to get you your room numbers (if there are any changes) for next year.

Due This Week!

  • Grades were due in Infinite Campus Friday (if its not there its late).
  • Schedule retention conferences for students who failed (priority for those PCSing).
  • Students who failed state required portions of Milestones should be marked "Retained" until promotion meeting is held after retest. Students who are PCSing should have retention conferences immediately and be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Paraprofessionals and other staff members should turn in self addressed stamped envelops for checks to be mailed.
  • EIP recommendation sheets turned in to Dr. Singh
  • Property inventory due to Mr. Kennedy.
  • Label all furniture with your room number (use tape not a sharpie)
  • Turn in grade level supply list to Dr. Singh
  • Turn in all laptops to Ms. Railey
  • Turn in list to hold report cards to Ms. Frierson (indicate how much and why)
  • Complete permanent records
  • Team Leaders - meet with your team to create hand written class list for next year. You know better than anyone who should not be in a class together. We will use this information to populate sections for next year. There may be changes later, but this will give us a good start (due before you leave).

No Backpacks On The Last Day
