Veterans' Day Celebration

Please join us in honoring our Swanson Community Veterans this Veterans Day with a reverse Veterans Day Parade on Friday, November 11th from 10:30-10:45 am! Please invite your family members, neighbors, and friends who are past and current service men and women of all branches of our Armed Services to join us on this special day. Our students and staff will be lining the Swanson parking lot and drive to welcome our honorees as they drive through our cue.

On this day all members of the Swanson Community of Learners will be wearing red, white, and blue. Please talk with your Superstar about the veterans who may be in your family or circle of friends to invite them to our special event!

Thank you for your assistance in keeping Swanson's long standing traditions of celebrating and thanking our veterans.

Please wear Red, White and Blue, next Friday, November 11th for Veterans Day!

Keep Us from Getting Lost

Please make sure to mark all jackets, coats, hats, gloves, lunch pails, backpacks and other student items with their NAME in case they are left around the building or out at recess. This helps us get them back to the right owner.

The school has a Lost and Found that students are welcome to look through if something is missing.

Digital Dozen Winner

The Excellence In Youth Team is proud to announce 4th grader Krish P. from Swanson has earned the Digital Dozen award for the 22-23 school year! This award is presented to students who earn 12 of the digital badges on the EY Website (ey.westside66.org), which is available to students district-wide. It takes self-motivation, grit, and determination to earn these badges and Krish should be proud of this accomplishment!
