A Reading From The Gospel for Sunday, September 22, 2019
Then Jesus said to the disciples, "There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was squandering his property. So he summoned him and said to him, "What is this that I hear about you? Give me an accounting of your management, because you cannot be my manager any longer."
Then the manager said to himself, "I have decided what to do so that, when I am dismissed as manager, people may welcome me into their homes."
So, summoning his master's debtors one by one, he asked the first, "How much do you owe my master?"
He answered, "A hundred jugs of olive oil."
He said to him, "Take your bill, sit down quickly, and make it fifty." And his master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly."

The Terry Fox Foundation has a great reputation, with $0.82 cents of every dollar raised going directly to cancer research.

End of Day Procedures
Please make sure that you child(ren) know if they are to take the bus or if they are getting picked up at the end of the day.
Should a student need to confirm their end of day plans, we ask that all students make their arrangements during the morning recess (10:19 a.m. - 10:34 a.m.) or during the lunch hour (12:04 p.m. - 12:47 p.m.).
This will reduce the confusion and rush at the end of the day and will also ensure that your child(ren) does not miss the bus.
If a student comes to the office at the end of the day and are unsure how they are getting home, we will be sending them home on the bus.

Parents of Teens - Sherwood Park Support Group
Dear Parents,
Parenting a teen or tween is tough and the struggle can be real or definitely feel real. Here is a local parenting support group where parents can go gain support, understand development and how to parent these "almost-adults-but-still-our-babies" human beings. Feel free to check out this low-cost parenting support group. All the details are included in this poster.
You are also more than welcome to come chat with me. My role at OLPH is to support children and their families to be the best they can be, especially around social-emotional well-being. Being a teenager can be a difficult chapter and I am happy to be a landing spot for these students to come and chat with. But I am also here for parents and guardians to gain support and a clearer understanding of their child's development. I truly believe "it takes a village to raise a child" and it is my honour to be a part of your child's village.
Have a wonderful day!
Mme Simone Moniz
