This team played their hearts out and just came up a bit short. We are EXTREMELY proud of our boys & our coaches for an amazing season and demonstrating what being a Purple is all about.

BGHS students and chaperones visited with Congressman Brett Guthrie at the US Capitol in Washington, DC.

The Annual Washington DC Trip Was A HUGE Success

  • 1,415 miles round trip on charter busses
  • 112,394 steps taken (approx. 51 miles walked)
  • Saw the Prime Minister of Canada at Arlington paying his respects
  • Visited several Smithsonian museums
  • Holocaust Museum
  • The National Cathedral
  • The Newseum
  • The National Archives
  • Union Station
  • Walking tour of Monuments
  • Dulles Air and Space Museum
  • A play at the Kennedy Center
  • Mount Vernon
  • Toured the Capitol and visited with Congressman Guthrie
  • The Library of Congress
  • Supreme Court
  • Memories made with 200 Bowling Green students and chaperones!

AP EXAM REGISTRATION

This year you will have two choices for AP sign-ups: paper sign-ups will be in the Commons during all 3 lunches the week of February 22-26 OR students can register through their MealPay accounts beginning Feb. 8th.


If students are signing up next week, a $20 deposit is required per test. Students who receive free/reduced lunch are not required to pay a deposit but must still complete a form or register online through MealPay. Students registering through MealPay are not required to complete a paper registration. If students have questions, they can check with their AP teacher or email Ms. Swiney @ karen.swiney@bgreen.kyschools.us .
