Last week on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 French I students had a video conference with a Réunion Island resident and You Tube influencer, Jennie Leonie. A former teacher, Jennie has moved on to form her own media production and promotion company to help Réunion Island businesses use media to connect with tourists. She spoke to students about life in Saint-Denis, working to support businesses and tourists in Réunion, and about life in Réunion. Getting the chance to connect with native speakers of the language and culture we are studying is one of the essential parts of studying world langauge. We are so grateful that Jennie was so generous with her time and was such a positive and supportive language and culture guide.

Mrs. Anderson’s Integrated Science class did an acrylic pouring project for an animal classification project to depict an organism/animal in its natural habitat.
