Dangers of Alcohol Use on Spring Break

College life and young adulthood come with new responsibilities, added pressures, and deadlines. Holidays like spring break are a great time to relax and let go of the pressures that come with school. For many college students, spring break means heavy drinking. Approximately 1,825 college students never reach their 25th birthday due to alcohol-related accidents and injuries. One of the prominent cause of these deaths is alcohol poisoning.
