There are transportation changes for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.

Parents should have received a letter in the mail featuring updated 21-22 Walk Zone guidance.
[Walk Zone Letter_English] [Walk Zone Letter-Spanish]

IPS is updating the ways in which students get to and from school for the 2021-2022 school year and will fully execute the district's long-standing walk zone policy at all K–12 schools. Based on the home address on file with IPS, your child lives within the school's walk zone boundaries and will be assigned the transportation status designation of "walker” when they return to school in the fall on Monday, August 2, 2021. Your family will also have the option to use personal transportation or public transportation and you can of course also arrange for your child to participate in a carpool.

Walk Zone Town Halls

IPS will host virtual town halls for families affected by the district’s walk zone policy. Join us at one of the following sessions, which will be hosted on Zoom. Registration required.

Please reach out to IPS transportation for additional information or attend one of the town hall meetings.
