Shout Outs
- The RtI team would like to give a shout out to Kate Johnson who painted a beautiful banner welcoming our readers to our hallway. She selflessly gave of her time and talents to make our readers feel special and welcome.
- E. Cartledge and J. Sparkman for facilitating vertical team collaboration during professional development this past Tuesday. Our time focused on the 5 in/5 out model in which grade levels identified 5 standardized based skills they wanted students to come to them with and identified 5 standardized based skills they wanted students to go to the next grade with. We will build upon this conversation as their are implications and actions for us over this year that will support the growth of mathematicians.
- Joe, Bud, and Wendy for filling in admirably in keeping the school clean while down a colleague this week.
- Thanks to you our faculty and staff for the work put in over the last seven years as we have been on this magnet school journey. I celebrate you all and contributions you've made in helping us becoming a US Department of Education Green Ribbon Award recipient.
- Amy Umberger for the work she has done as our Resident Scientist. The Green Ribbon recognition is a testament to our work collectively. Amy, however, is responsible for the business partners and entities that have partnered with us once we became a magnet school. Her fingerprints are over every element of the success of our magnet program and we want her to know that she is appreciated!
