The camper of the week gets to be the line leader for the week. The student also gets to share their “All About Me” poster.

Notes from the Teacher

*Please remember to send a snack with your child daily.

*Please check the front pocket of the black folder (C.A.M.P Folder) and sign your child's agenda daily.

*Reading tests will be given on Thursdays. Practice reading the story each night and ask your child questions about the story. The story is included in the homework packet.

*Spelling tests are given on Fridays. Study the words given in the homework packet.

*FRY Words- Words have to be known by sight within 3 seconds or less. (This nine weeks the first 50.) I have highlighted the words your child knows. Practice the words not highlighted and review known words.

*Treats for Birthdays: If you plan on sending cupcakes for your child's birthday, please let me know in advance. Also, we celebrate your child's birthday during their lunch time which is between 11:40-12:10.

*We are off to a great first week with learning the Panther Way. Please continue to discuss with your child the expectations for the school. This includes classroom, hallway, restroom, and lunchroom behavior.

*This newsletter will normally come home on Sunday night or Monday afternoon. If for some reason your e-mail address changes please send me the new one.

* Remind 101 allows teachers to communicate with parents about upcoming events. To sign up for text messages text 81010 and in the message put @presbaker1.

* Continue collecting Box Tops and send them to school with your child. Our PTO turns them in for money to use at our school.
