They lived in the coastal and North Central plains Piney Woods. They got their food by farming fruits, vegetables, grains, some fish and buffalo. They lived in grass huts made out of wooden frames and dry grasses. They dressed in loin cloth with animal skins and tattooing. They worked together as a confederacy, tribal council. tribal fact they made pottery, moved to Oklahoma gave Texas it name tejas.
