Important Information for You!
Grateful!
This past week as our staff came together to help one of our own, I was reminded again the power of coming together as one. Whether it was a material or monetary donation, or a positive thought/prayer each of you gave a little of yourself to help Justina during a very difficult time. She was extremely grateful! Additionally, I was again reminded of how grateful I am to work with such an amazing group of people who will step in and up to help others in whatever way they can!
As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, may we all take an extra moment to remember and reflect on all that we have to be grateful for. Also, may that spirit of helping out another carry with us. I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your long weekend!
Cool to Care Campaign
As the items have began moving from classrooms to the sorting area, it is awesome to see the number of items coming in. It makes me happy to think about the number of families that will be helped by the generosity of our students and staff. With this week being the half-way point, please send me the number of items your classroom has collected. Thank you for all you do to promote this worth cause.
Holiday Parties
As you begin to prepare/plan for your holiday parties, please be sure to let the office know your date and time. Also, please let us know what your plans are for parent involvement. Once we hear back from everyone, we will create a master list for everyone.
Santa's Secret Shop
As they did last year, our PTO will be doing a Santa's Secret Shop December 9th, 10th, and 11th. Just like last year, on December 11th any student who did not bring in money will be allowed to 'shop' with monies provided by the PTO and the company we work with to provide Santa's Secret Shop. Please let me know what questions you have.

Do ONE Thing and Make a Big Difference!
All month I have asked you to focus on the things that you are grateful for. As we head into Thanksgiving, I hope that this will remain the focus. Many experts and researches have said that one of the fastest ways to improve happiness and reduce stress is to intentionally focus on what you are grateful for at least once everyday.
