Principal’s Message
Believe it or not, we are already beginning to plan for the 2021-2022 school year. If your child will not be returning to the district next year, please let us know by filling out this form. Thank you!
Next week Red Oak will be participating in a Disability Awareness program called Educating Outside the Lines. We have participated in this great program for the last several years. Sessions will be held virtually during PE classes. Virtual students are encouraged to participate in the scheduled sessions. Virtual teachers have been notified and will excuse Red Oak students from class in order to participate. Here is the schedule of sessions. Zoom links will be shared with virtual students and families via email.

If you submitted the first food service selection form sent on March 19, and now want to change the option you selected, fill out this new form. If you filled out the previous form and you want to keep that selection, you do not need to fill out this new form.
Reminder: PCR Testing for COVID-19
PCR testing REPLACES the weekly saliva screening.
Testing is voluntary and requires consent to participate. If a child were to test positive, the District will consult with the Lake County Health Department and refer to the IDPH Interim Exclusion Guidance.
For information on the screening please refer to the documents below.
Consent Form - Student ID can be found in the PARENT PORTAL.
IMPORTANT: when using a cell phone device Turn OFF the Mobile-Friendly button and click OK (to see the complete text)
IMPORTANT: When signing, type your initials and draw your signature in the text box
If you wish to have your child(ren) participate in the COVID-19 screening, a consent form will need to be completed for each child. The consent form will remain open for the remainder of the school year and must be completed by Sunday to participate in the following week. Please see the videos below for demonstrations on how to conduct the test at home.
