Information about Leprosy:

What is Leprosy?


  • An infection that causes nerve damage and skin sores.

What does it look like?

  • Leprosy is a bacteria that causes deformation and looks sometimes like a rash.

How do you get it?

  • Ways of getting Leprosy is unknown, but it is most likely causes by built up bacteria.

Is it contagious?

  • Leprosy is contagious but not easily transmitted.

Can you get rid of it?

  • Though it is though of to be incurable, there are medicines to keep it under control.

  • Skin Lesions
  • Weak Muscles
  • Numbness in arms and legs
