Early Life
Carrie was born on March 10, 1982 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was raised on her parents farm in a rural town Checotah. In high school she began to put aside her dreams of a music career to focus on more teenager activities. She was a cheerleader and she played softball though her time in American Idol. Carrie graduated high school in 2001. She attended Northeastern State University. Carrie volunteered a lot with her collage classmates.
