Our Vision: Every Student a Success!
Our Mission: Building Children, Character, and Community Everyday!
Building a Growth Mindset with the Power of "Yet"
What types of thinking do you hear your scholar expressing? We work with students to help them understand growth, which is a process. Look at the examples of a fixed and growth mindset. You can support your scholar by promoting a growth mindset. When they express difficulty with something, encourage them to use the power of "yet". When kids adopt a mindset where they include “yet” into how they view their abilities, some very big, positive changes can happen! Check out the article linked below to help you better understand how to support your scholar with developing and exercising a growth mindset rather than a fixed mindset.
Fixed Mindset
"I can't solve that math problem."
"I can't read."
"I'll never score any soccer goals."
Growth Mindset
“I can’t solve that math problem…yet.”
“I haven’t scored any soccer goals…yet.”
"I can learn to read."

We Need Your Help
Parents, when we call about your child, we are trying to help your child. Help us by not citing what other students are doing and transferring blame to others. This teaches students how to make excuses for their behavior. Rather, partner with us by supporting the efforts the teacher and school are taking to teach the socially acceptable behaviors required. It's important for your child to know what's expected at school and that you'll support the school's consequences when expectations aren't met. It's easiest for students when school expectations match the ones at home, so kids see both environments as safe and caring places that work together as a team. Please review the student code of conduct and discipline policy and discuss the school wide and classroom expectations with your child.

Support our Scholars' Social and Emotional Growth by Logging Into our RPM Move This World Family Account.
Move This World Family Account
We know that the events of this year have been difficult to navigate. To support our students’ social emotional needs and mental health, we are using a video-based social emotional learning (SEL) curriculum from Move This World. I’m excited to share that you’ll be able to access this helpful curriculum at home, too!
Social emotional learning is how students learn to process and manage emotions as well as important social skills. It includes everything from goal setting to stress management, and it provides both children and adults with tools they can use to express themselves authentically and safely. SEL helps students build healthy relationships, communicate effectively, and live a meaningful life.
Below, you’ll find log in instructions:

Practicing social emotional learning at home can help your students:
Process the events of this year.
Build critical social skills.
Connect with themselves and others.
Navigate challenges they may be experiencing.
Adjust to the new school year.
Move This World is a social emotional learning program delivered through an extensive online library of PreK-12 videos and resources rooted in creative expression that help students, teachers and staff develop a common language to improve communication and build trust. We’re so glad that you’ll be able to access Move This World videos and resources at home, and hope they are helpful for your student and family.

School Arrival / Breakfast
For your child’s safety, please do not drop-off before 7:30 a.m.
Breakfast is available from 7:30-7:55am. If you will for your student to eat breakfast, please ensure they arrive early enough to walk to class, eat, and clear their work space ready to begin instruction at 8:00am.
Early Pick-Ups
Please allow students to remain the full school day. If you need to pick up your child for an appointment, please call ahead of your arrival and return the note from the doctor, dentist, etc., on the next school day in order to receive credit for the day.
Additionally, students will not be released from school after 3:00 pm. Parents wanting their children will need to wait for dismissal time and follow the appropriate dismissal process.
Safe School Dismissal
Thank you for following our safe dismissal plan by using your car identification tags and remaining in your cars in the car drive. This has helped us reduce the time for dismissal significantly. Also, as a reminder, all walkers are to leave the campus immediately. We ask that anyone walking to meet a student not block the sidewalk or doorways to allow students to exit safely. You are welcome to wait at the tree by the our crossing guard.
Students will not be released to anyone from any doors during actual dismissal. If there should happen to be a change with your student's dismissal, due to emergency, our front office must be notified before 3:00p.m. Early pickups will not be honored after 3:00p.m. A notice from the appointment is also required for the student to be excused from time missed in class.
