Welcome Back List Families!

Back to School Newsletter 2022-2023

Welcome Back!

As principal of List Elementary School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year! We are excited to see everyone back for the 2022-23 school year and hope you had an enjoyable summer. A special welcome to the families who are new to the Frankenmuth School District. We are happy to serve you and your child beginning on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 6, 2022. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and a part of our List family.

We welcome all families to walk their children into school on the first day. After that, please help your child build their confidence and self-reliance by allowing them to walk into the school independently. There are a lot of helpers when students enter the building, so don't ever worry about dropping your child off and not escorting them to class.

I am honored to serve as the principal of List Elementary School. It is such a privilege to be part of a community where families, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. Don't ever hesitate to reach out if you have a question or concern. Go Eagles!

Drop off and pick up

As you know, drop-off and pick-up times are busy and we want to ensure the safety of our students and their families. Give lots of hugs and kisses prior to leaving the house in the morning, end cell phone conversations, and remain in your vehicle when dropping off your children. If you are dropping off, pull forward as far as possible before allowing your child to exit. If you need to park, please park in the parent parking area. Also, proceed slowly and cautiously when driving in our parking lots. We appreciate your patience as we get little ones out of vehicles in the morning.
