The highlights of this report are the preschool lottery next week, upcoming community events, 8th grade graduation plans, and our second Curriculum and Instruction Family night.

We will ignite student engagement and passion by promoting inquiry and by designing real-world, student-centered learning experiences.

We will build an innovative community where we learn, live, and play TOGETHER.

We have a limited number of preschool spots and will need to conduct a lottery. If you have signed up, you will receive an email with your child's lottery number. If you signed up but have not received an email with your child's lottery number by the end of the day tomorrow, please email our Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Mayreni Fermin-Cannon at mfermincannon@lumberton.k12.nj.us

Mr. Wrigley hosted and open forum for 8th grade families last night to take in family wishes as he plans for a special end-of-year celebration.

Mr. Wrigley responded to requests to call the celebration graduation, rather than promotion.

The event will be held outdoors to allow for each child to have unlimited guests, rather than the three tickets per student limit were it to be held indoors. After careful consideration of multiple factors, the decision was made to keep graduation on campus. Outdoor, daytime, 8th grade graduation has been a long-standing tradition here in Lumberton. We are all looking forward to a beautiful and special occasion, celebrating all the hard work our 8th graders have achieved.

Ashbrook

We met our goal of achieving 500 paws and had movie day on Friday 3/10. We celebrated SEL Day on 3/10 and discussed self-management skills - talking about managing emotions and stress/coping skills.

Bobby's Run

Students at BRS with no major infractions for February attended a Board Game day. SEL day was March 10th. Students celebrated by watching Inside Out and focusing on self-management
