Summer Opportunities in Oregon
LOCAL CAMPS (There are others, but here are a few to start with)
Straub Outdoors, Our week-long summer day camps provide kids entering Grades 1-7 with opportunities to experience fun, science-based activities in a supportive outdoor environment. Camps are led by college-educated field educators and have a teacher-student ratio of 1:7. Campers learn about Oregon's insects, wildlife, forests, rivers, wetlands, geology, engineering, art, and cultural history during visits to state parks and other natural areas.
