PRINCIPAL'S End of the Year Message and Important Information
I want to thank all the parents and students for another great year. While the year was not without COVID challenges, the staff and I were thrilled to spend an entire year with our students in person. Please note that the last day of school is Friday, June 3rd. School is out at 12:15, so please plan to pick up your student accordingly.
CONGRATULATIONS to our fifth graders, who will be moving to middle school next year. Life will be filled with new experiences and changes. Your courage and strength have been an inspiration to us as you persevered through all the challenges these past few years. Please come back to visit us and don't forget...once a cougar, always a cougar. Congratulations, students, and congratulations, parents! Well done!
Thank you to Oster's HSC Board and Oster's School Site Council for being incredible partners with the school. We would not be able to provide our students with all the amazing opportunities if it wasn't for your support, dedication, and love for our school and students.
Lastly, I would like to congratulate the following staff who will be retiring or moving on to new and exciting opportunities:
Mrs. Gorham (2nd Grade), Mrs. Mace ( Office Admin Assistant), Ms. Yoshioka (TK teacher), Ms. Tu (4th Grade), and Mrs. Soyster (RS Teacher). While we are sad to see them leave, we wish them all the best in this new chapter of life. Thank you for making a difference in our students and the Oster community.
No School On Monday: Memorial Day. Enjoy the Long Weekend!
Congratulations to Oster's Girls on the Run who ran their 5k last weekend. Way to go Girls....Go Cougars!

OSTER NEEDS YOUR HELP FOR THE 22/23 SCHOOL YEAR:
For the 22/23 school year, we need Lunch Duty Supervisors and a Crossing Guard (AM and PM). Please consider offering your support and making a difference for our school community. These positions can be a fun way to meet more students, parents, and staff. Volunteer or paid positions are available ($16 per hour). If you are interested, please fill out this form, and someone from the front office will contact you prior to the beginning of school.
Yearbooks will be distributed to those who purchased one during the last week of school within the classrooms. If you're not sure whether you ordered one, please search your email for a receipt from Balfour.
If you would still like to buy a yearbook, please email Osterhsc@gmail.com, and they will let you know if there are additional yearbooks for sale.
OSTER CONSTRUCTION OVER SUMMER BREAK
We will have extensive construction happening at Oster over the summer, and as such, our campus will be completely closed to visitors. This work may continue through early August. We will keep you posted on when the work is scheduled to be completed. Thank you for your understanding.
MOVIING TO A NEW SCHOOL?
Please be sure to let the office know if you are planning on moving. It is essential we collect all relevant documents and technology devices from students not returning. This will also help us prepare our numbers for enrollment next school year. Thank you!
