Leprosy
Armadillo's are the only wild animals that can carry Leprosy. That helped use because we got to see how we can cure it from researching the armadillo.
Disadvantages
There are some Disadvantages of using the Armadillo. Firstly that the we could get leprosy from them even though the chance is very low it is still a danger. Also that since that we are getting cells and DNA from them we could really hurt them. Also most armadillos are endangered or threatened.
Advantages
There are lots of advantages of researching armadillos firstly they helped us created a cure to a deadly disease. They are not very dangeurous and will not attack you.
Diet
Armadillos are omnivores which means they eat plants and animals. They use their legs to dig up the ground then use their long sticky tongue to get food
