Tuesday PD PLC Requests
Please send Stacey and Heath your Executive Functioning Discussion notes from the September 1 Early Release pd. As a reminder, specific feedback about PSM interventions is needed as we enhance our practice.
Please share:
1. Two interventions that should not be changed because they are so effective (and what makes them effective?)
2. Two interventions that are solid to strong, but would improve if...
3. Two ideas to support further growth, efficiency and effectiveness at PSM would be...
Note that the powerpoint from Tish Taylor is posted in Google Drive in the School Learning Plan folder for easy access, review and reflection.
Once this brief task is completed, use the time to log into Infinitec and complete the ESI required training. If you have challenges with this, please do not hesitate to reach out to leadership for support.

Friday Nuts and Bolts PLC Focus
- Guided Studies Communication
- Problem Solving Students
- Eighth Grade: PSAT the week of October 6
- Fall Play Schedule is on Google Drive. Print it and know it as you prepare for assessments, activities et cetera.
- Lunch Schedules....be kind to your colleagues. With the strongly requested four minute passing period between class dismissal and the actual lunch start time your supervisors are often arriving AFTER the students. Be aware of this as you send kids and realize the return (particularly on testing days) may be a few minutes altered. Thank you.
Whew! Progress Reports are here already...
The Middle School Progress and Grade Report calendar is located in the back appendix of your Staff Planner this year.
In it you will note the reminder that following this Tuesday's grading time, our progress report dates are in the weekly pages of the Staff Planner.
The Grading Window opens on Wednesday, September 9.
Progress Reports are due / submitted no later than 3:00 on Friday, September 11.
Nancy will be leaving the building just after she finishes her upload starting at 3:00 on the 11th.
Please plan accordingly, and if unable to meet this deadline see Stacey and Heath no later than 9/9.
