Some GOOD News!

Brand new resources: The Department of Special Education has been communicating and sharing remote learning resources with our fabulous special education teachers, campus principals, and other support staff in a variety of new ways! Over the last few weeks our department staff has developed several new How-to guides for navigating everything from holding ARD meetings via Zoom to sharing confidential documents with our parent and guardians in a safe and secure manner online!

Teachers and staff: We have developed a Google Site for sharing, commenting, and collaborating on multiple social emotional online resources, activities, and lesson plans to meet all needs of our students, in addition to academics! We also provide a living online Question and Answer forum to provide update to date and accurate information to our teachers 24 hours a day.

Parents and Guardians: We have developed an online learning resource page accessible on our JISD Department website and in the link below with additional academic and social emotional resources including websites, activities, videos, and more.
