QUICK NOTES

  • ISTEP: Reminder, we will be having ISTEP testing each morning as well as some sessions in the afternoon. Look for signs posted on doorways. Please remind students to follow hallway procedures so those taking the tests are able to fully concentrate on their work.
  • MAXIMILLION: I am so impressed with how well our students are progressing towards meeting our 1,000,000 minute goal! I know we have tossed around some ideas for when the students meet the final goal. We will need to meet soon to get plans finalized. Please be thinking about specific activities each grade span can do. You might want to start by picking the books, series, authors, etc. as the theme and then go from there. We will meet in a couple of weeks to do the final planning.

FAME FESTIVAL THIS SATURDAY

Led by our fearless music teacher, Mrs. English, the combined choirs of Wayne Center Music Makers and South Side Music Makers will perform at the FAME Festival at 9:00 a.m. on March 9 at the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne. Can't wait to see their performance!

Come see the wonderful artwork our students have created for the sculpture garden and art exhibition. Mrs. Mossburg has been busy selecting work to be showcased at this event.

Many thanks to Mrs. English and Mrs. Mossburg for dedicating an enormous amount of time preparing our students for this wonderful event!
