Gators of the Week - Work hard. Get smart. Do good.

Gators of the Week: Men's Track Wins Lower Richland High School Invitational

Work hard. River Bluff's men's track team was victorious this weekend over a field of many strong teams at the Lower Richland Invitational. The men's and women's 4 x 800 relay teams were both crowned track meet champions.

The best is yet to come for this team.

Gators of the Week: Science Olympiad Wins 2nd and Qualifies for State

Get smart: Students Science Olympiad team competed this weekend in the regional tournament and finished runner up qualifying for the state's competition later this month. We are so proud of their events finishing in 3rd or better in all of them.

Gators of the Week: Chinese Language Students Featured on WIS TV

Do good. This past week our Chinese 3HN, 4HN students had a very exciting real world experience at WIS TV Station. This curricular activity will help students to prepare and finish their News Flash Unit to achieve high quality & more professional work. We are also very lucky to be included in last week's WIS TV News At Noon for 3-5 seconds at the end.

Signing Out Procedures

A reminder to parents regarding signing students out during the school day. Someone from the student's sign out sheet must come in and show ID to dismiss a child. We do not accept phone calls or emails for dismissal. You can come in on Monday to sign your child out during the week but only up until Friday of the same week. Also, if you are dismissing your child during ILT, then it is helpful to have made arrangements with the student ahead of time. We appreciate your help to assist in making this process efficient.

Counseling and Advisement Assignments for Students

Counseling and Advisement Team

The Counseling & Advisement team is working towards a more intentionally focused program to provide students with the best support. Rather than counselors having students in all grade levels (9-12), we are realigning to be able to more appropriately serve students’ transitional needs at the different levels. This realignment will also more closely mirror our CREW design allowing students to stay with their school counselor their 9th and 10th grade years and then have another counselor their 11th and 12th grade years.
