Written announcements:
remember than a yearbook! Your advisory teacher has yearbook slips for you. You can order a yearbook online or bring the slip back to the office with cash or a check. Email Mr. Finton with questions, or if you have pictures that you want in the yearbook, email Mr. Finton! We are going to have a “Quaran-teen” section, so send in photos of yourself at home, on the bus with a mask, socially-distancing with friends, or any other ideas you have. His email is fintonc@fargoschools.org.
It is time to resume our preparations for this year’s 7th / 8th grade musical revue called “Face the Music”. This will be different than a normal musical show, but it will still be A LOT of fun. We will need both singing and non-singing actors, show hosts, and a few stagehands to help with this production. Our interest meetings will take place on the 9th and 10th of December. It will be located in the Hangar at 3:30PM after school lets out. There will be more information given at the meetings. Please come on the 9th if you are in the Red group, and the 10th if you are in the Yellow group. Virtual academy students who are interested should attend the meeting for the group they would be in based on their last name. If you are unable to attend the interest meetings you must reach out to Mr. Nielsen by email.
7th and 8th grade boys, basketball will begin as soon as we start school after the holiday break. If you are interested in playing basketball for CBE, email Mr. Eben or Mr. Gillett as soon as you can. Remember to have your physical completed by the time we get back to school on January 4th. Virtual Academy students are welcome as well!
CBE is participating in a “Coin War” to help fund the Great Plains Food Bank before we leave for break to make up for our usual Fill the Dome competition. Students have this week and next week to bring in as many coins (and bills) as they can to fill their team’s jug in the library. The coins that are brought in count as plus (+) for your team, if you put bills in a different advisory’s jug, it will count as negative (-) for that team. The team with the most amount of (+) money brought in will get the opportunity for someone from that advisory class to pie a teacher before we leave for Winter Break.
Happy Birthday to: Saudia G., Lena N., Cameron B.
Happy Early Birthday to: Chloe C., Forrest C., Sith E., Zander O.
