March

Delgado's Notes

March is off to an amazing start! We celebrated Read Across America which is one of my favorite times during the academic year. It provides an opportunity for the entire school community to focus on reading in fun and exciting ways. Each activity was engaging and allowed students to see a real world application to reading and comprehension. From the parent volunteers to our Read Across America Camp Fire kickoff each student had a blast reading! The focus on reading will be ongoing and we ask that you continue to support our efforts at home. The more students are exposed to rich text the stronger readers they will become. I always encourage our students to read (or have someone read to them) each night as it will become a part of their daily ritual and routines. Frost continues to grow and we are on a great trajectory towards success!

Thank you to the RAA committee for organizing a week of amazing events!

Important reminders!

  • Please remember to utilize the attendance line when students will be absent. The attendance line is available 24 hours, 7 day a week at 732-613-6850 option 1.
  • Please remember to stop by and check the lost and found area if your child (ren) have misplaced a clothing item.
  • The car lines for arrival and dismissal have been running smoothly. Please remember to have students ready to exit the vehicle as you pull up to the car line. Afterschool, please do not park your car in the dismissal line. This line has a steady flow and parked cars impede the flow of traffic.

  • For parents with a child (ren) in grades K-2 the district will push out a QR code log in for district computer devices. When more information is provided we will provide access steps.
