A disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of the nerves. multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable and often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain,and also between the brain and the body.the nerves themselves may deteriorate a process that is irreversiable.
